Local intel for New Paltz

For a scenic outing, add Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park Preserve, and the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, with SUNY New Paltz and the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art as easy cultural additions. Nearby Stone Ridge and the Mohonk Mountain House area also make a refined half-day drive. New Paltz is compact in the village core, but the key sights are spread between downtown, the SUNY campus, and the Shawangunk ridge parks, so short drives are still common. Parking can be tight around Main Street and trailheads, especially on weekends, so a private chauffeur avoids circling, drop-off delays, and parking fees while keeping the schedule efficient. A chauffeur also makes it easy to combine village dining with out-of-town stops like Mohonk Preserve or Minnewaska without worrying about rural roads or return logistics.
