What data does the flight tracker show?
For a flight or tail number you'll see the airline, aircraft type, current status, scheduled and revised departure/arrival times, and — where the airport publishes it — terminal, gate and baggage belt.
Can I track a private jet by tail number?
Yes. Enter the aircraft registration (tail number) such as N123AB. Some private aircraft are privacy-blocked by the FAA/owner, in which case we show the aircraft details we can and no live position.
